Being organized and confident in our movements thoughts is necessary to achieve a desired outcome. Motor, process, social interaction performance skill training therefore part of contemporary occupational therapy (OT) training. Also prioritized building awareness cultural, economic diversity, inequity the need for inclusion representation within OT profession. The US Practice Framework emphasizes embeddedness clients their activities personal sociocultural contexts.Less attention has been paid learning self-organization, self-efficacy diverse students as they prepare hands-on interventions with future clients. Minimal literature available about own somatic embodied understanding motor skills teach A decade observing clinical labs at historically Black Howard University (HU), recent survey HU students, reveal quest learning, guidance organizing kinesthetically client encounters.Researching these observed voiced needs stimulated development Embedded Embodied Motor Skill Curriculum (EEMSC). curriculum grounded evidence-based research Feldenkrais Method® education.The Kern 6-Step Approach design was used develop program.
